Why wait? Get involved! Albany Roller Derby offers three roller skating programs and a referee pathway.
We can provide skates, helmets, and safety equipment in all programs for loan.
We skate every Thursday evening at Albany Leisure and Aquatic Centre - 57 Barker Rd Albany.
We are a registered KIDSPORT Club. *Please apply for your KIDSPORT code and email it to us. Then we will let you know how to proceed with the registration
All programs run for 10 weeks from April to September and are led by experienced coaches who hold:
Level 1 in Roller Derby coaching (Skate Victoria)
Working With Children Check
First Aid and CPR qualifications.
Registration opens March 18 and closes April 18, contact us with limited places in some programs.
If you require financial support with your membership, contact us for instructions on how to proceed with registration.
Junior Learn to Skate
Ages 8 to 17 and all genders welcome.
Ideal for beginners. Learn to roller skate in a fun and inclusive program.
Non-competitive, Non-contact
Thursdays 5:30pm to 6:30pm
Insurance: $30 annually. To be paid before skating.

Fun and competitive with game play and strategy.
Skaters must have confident and stable roller skating skills. If unsure, please pop us a message

Ideal for beginners and experienced skaters. Coached by fun and experienced coaches. Skills and drills each week building up to gameplay.

Referee
Ages 16+ and all genders are welcome.
Learn to skate and become a referee. Non-contact skating is a great option.
Learn skills in a supportive and welcoming environment
